British illustrator Erin Petson has achieved international acclaim with her immediately recognisable artworks. Her illustrations are described as powerful and edgy yet simultaneously ethereal. Her genuine love of drawing, montage and mark-making comes through all of her pieces which are both delicate and provocative, with an almost paper doll like effect. Seeing her work for real is highly recommended, as it's power comes from the textures and the immediacy of her images.
Her first commissions included Stella McCartney and Tank Magazine. Other clients include Dior. where she was to take part in the Rene Gruau beauty exhibition at Somerset House and the V&A , whom have collected 50 pieces of her original drawings for their archive. Her Fashion Top Trump cards featured weekly in the Sunday Times Style. She was invited as a VIP guest to the Melbourne Cup where she exhibited her fashion illustrations for Myer.
Other clients include the V&A Museum, Dior, Somerset House, Vogue, Loro Piana, Victoria Beckham, Swarovski, Lancome, New York Times, Diane Von Furtenberg, Selfridges, Myer, The Guardian, Elle, WWD Beauty, Laurence King Publishing, Harvey Nichols. Penguin, Sunday Times Style.....
